Dr. David M. Kaplan received his Bachelor of Arts with honours from the York University and his Master of Science in Bioethics and Health Policy from the University of Toronto. He graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Kaplan (Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine) is the Associate Chief of Family & Community Medicine and Chair of the Research Ethics Board at North York General Hospital.

Dr. Kaplan practices Cosmetic and Family Medicine. he is a member of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Canadian and Ontario Medical Associations and the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

Dr. Kaplan is a certified Botox Injector and has trained with one of the top Botox trainers in North America. He has also trained with Medicis (the company that manufactures Restylane and Perlane) for facial filler injection techniques. Dr. Kaplan has been performing both Botox and facial filler injections as an independent contractor to aesthetic spas as well as in his own Practice.
